Here is your opportunity to be part of a fantastic new campaign that highlights an audio history of the corps and also raises a few doubloons for the Buccaneers booty!
A Buc a Week is a weekly podcast, hosted by Bucs alumni, Ken Honsberger, that will capture the history of the corps through personnel memories of members, administrative staff, designers, instructors, support staff, and fans of the Buccaneers.
This podcast, and YouTube Channel, will bring to life the history of the corps by the people who lived it. Interested in being part of history and being a guest on the podcast? Then use the easy link below to go to the calendar to reserve your time for the preparation call and the taping of the podcast. Also see below for the items that will be necessary for you to do before the day of the recording.
So how is this going to raise money for the corps. Well, Ken has offered to make a donation to the corps after each interview . We would hope that the person being interviewed would contribute as well. In addition we will be structuring giving opportunities around the A Buc a Week program.
Interviews will start in mid-January with the first podcast to be released in early February. Keep an eye out on the website and social media for guests and release dates.
So be part of history by telling your story about your time with the Buccaneers and what that time meant to you.
If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Ken at ken.honsberger@gmail.com.

Guest requirements…here is what is required of you:

-
Complete the guest pre-interview questionnaire. You can find that online at the A Buc a Week page on the Buccaneers website or you can simply ask for a link from Ken

-
Sign up for an interview picking your dates and times. You will select two dates.
-
The first is a pre-podcast discussion. This will be a 30 to 45 minute taped interview with Ken, consider it a rehearsal for the interview to come.

-
Schedule your podcast date. This will be the date and time that you and Ken sit down. Plan on this being anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours. It will then be edited so that each podcast will be about an hour long.

-
Have fun – this will not be a pre-scripted interview but more of a free flowing discussion around your time with the Buccaneers. In many ways we will talk about what you want to discuss.
